After completing a deal for Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal on Monday, there are new reports that manager Jose Mourinho is asking the management at Old Trafford to quickly land Ivorian star Jean Michael Seri.
Manchester United announced a swap deal for Alexis few hours ago that saw Armenia international Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to North London.
Last month, Jose told the management he needs more money to bring in quality players. The Portuguese tactician insisted he can only win the premier league for the club if they spend as much as Manchester City.
During the weekend, the former Chelsea boss said he isn’t a big fan of the winter transfer window, but he just can’t miss the opportunity to sign a superb player like Alexis Sanchez.
The former Real Madrid manager obviously needs more, and he wants his club to sign Seri as soon as possible.
Mourinho broke transfer records in 2016 to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus, and he also splashed huge cash to lure Nemanja Matic from Chelsea last summer.
With Micheal Carrick set to retire at the end of the season, and Marouane Fellaini ready to leave Old Trafford as a free man next summer, it is necessary the red devils should sign another midfielder.
