Arsenal star player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has emerged as a target for Chelsea this summer and has been on the Stamford Bridge club’s radar in recent times.

The Englishman has been strongly linked with a move to west London and appears destined to play in Stamford Bridge next season.

According to reports, the premier league champions are preparing an imminent transfer bid for the England international.

Oxlade-Chamberlain’s contract at Arsenal will expire very soon and he has reportedly rejected a new deal offered to him by the gunners that will see him go home with around £100,000 each week.

Apart from Chelsea, another premier league club known to be interested in him is Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. The German boss is said to be a keen admirer of the winger but the Anfield club are however yet to make a formal bid for him.

However, the Daily Express indicate that the blues are set to overtake Liverpool in the race for the 23-year-old and are preparing an offer for him in the next 48 hours.

It is understood that Arsene Wenger’s side want at least £25 Million for Alex and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are also said to be interested in securing his services.

The former Barcelona boss has reportedly turned his focus away from Chilean star Alexis Sanchez as the player appears destined to complete a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
