Mourinho Really Mean Business: United To Agree £275,000 Star Deal

Manchester United brought Swede legend and superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic into the Old Trafford in the summer transfer window. The veteran center forward can be regarded rightly as the best United player this season.

He isn’t showing any sign of getting tired, and at 35, the former Barcelona striker is still playing as if he is younger. So, those at Manchester United must still stick to him.

This season so far, In 29 appearances in all competitions, Ibrahimovic has scored 19 times and has provided 6 assists in the current campaign.

He is presently the joint leading goalscorer alongside Diego Costa and Alexis Sanchez in the Premier League with 14 goals.

Last summer, the huge man signed a one year contract worth £275,000-a-week with a clause meant to extend the deal for another year.

After his continuous brilliant performances, it seems he is destined to stay at Old Trafford for another year as Man United will activate next year’s clause. Moreover, it appears the red devils do not just want to keep Ibrahimovic for one more year as The Sun reported  that they are ready to agree a deal to keep the star player for the next two years.

Since he isn’t just showing any signs of slowing down and has been so helpful in Mourinho’s team, United fans sure want him to stay as long as possible.
