Nabil Fekir

Nabil Fekir is one of the most sought-after players on the European football following his impressive outings for his club in the better part of the last two months.

The 25-year-old has been the subject of transfer rumours to the crème de la crème of European football.

The French international player came close to join Premier League giants Liverpool in the summer but the move fell through.

The Reds had agreed on a £53m fee for him and the transfer was on the verge of completion until Liverpool pulled out of the deal due to concerns over his knee.

Nabil Fekir has been heavily touted as a possible addition to the Chelsea squad with various reports claiming that new manager Maurizio Sarri has already called him to outline his plans for him.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in the 2018 World Cup winner.

Interested clubs have received a huge boost after Fekir turned down a Lyon contract extension according to French news outlet Le Progres.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas wants to tie him down to a new deal to increase the player’s transfer fee but the Frenchman is having none of that.

His Lyon contract expires at the end of the 2019/20 season.
