Liverpool top ace and Eygtian international nominated for two FIFA awards

English football club, Liverpool are about to reap some dividends off their last season great performance especially in the UEFA Champions League.

New report have made it known that Liverpool ace and Egypt international, Mohammed Salah have been nominated for two FIFA awards.

According to report, the top rated striker is among the first top three to be named for the best FIFA player in 2018.

Apart from Mo Salah, the other two players on the nomination list are Portugal international, Cristiano Ronaldo and Croatia top Midfielder, Luka Modric.

For the first time in over a decade, Barcelona and Argentina star, Lionel Messi is not listed on the top three list, likewise Neymar Jnr.

Cristiano Ronaldo made the list owing to his contributions for his former football club, Real Madrid as they lifted the UEFA Champions League last season.

On the other hand, Luka Modric made the nomination list after he won the best player award in the 2018 world cup in Russia and also help his home country to the final of the World Cup before they lost to France.

Apart from making the nominee list of FIFA best player, Mo Salah was also nominated for the 2018 FIFA Puskas Award.
