Not Griezmann – Jose Mourinho Set To Splash £70Million On This Striker

With just eight premier league games left for Manchester United to play as the end of season approaches, the Old Trafford club are still occupying the fifth position in the table as they struggle hard take a spot at the top four and qualify for the Champions League (which is one of the prominent reasons Jose Mourinho was brought in the first place).

It was reported that the Portuguese boss has personally called Arsenal embattled Chilean player Alexis Sanchez about moving to the Old Trafford club.

Sanchez is yet to agreed to a new deal with Arsenal even though the Emirates club have reportedly offered to increase his wages, and he was rated £70 million too.

The Chile international is a versatile talent who can effectively play anywhere in the attacking third, including as a center forward. If Ibrahimovic should stay, Alexis can be expected to line up in the attacking midfield.

Sanchez plays on the side of the attack. Currently in Jose Mourinho’s team, that position is being occupied by Frenchman Anthony Martial. Since the former Barcelona player is obviously better than the former Monaco star, Sanchez will easily make the position his own at Man United.

If Sanchez should come, he would line up with the duo of Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the attacking midfield and we can only imagine how deadly Mourinho’s squad will be.
