Manchester United star Paul Pogba has made the special claim in his message to his former manager Jose Mourinho.
In what turned out to be a surprise, the Frenchman sent a ‘thank you’ message to the Portuguese boss stating that he was the manager that made him improve in his game.
Meanwhile, the World Cup winner and the former Chelsea boss were at loggerheads with each other before the sack of Mourinho and Pogba is reported to be one of the reasons why the manager was sacked.
It is no longer news that manager Jose Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United over the poor results he had at the beginning of the season which failed to stop.
Mourinho was believed to have been unstable and placed under pressure by some of the players he had a rift with and Paul Pogba was at the centre of it all.
However, he admitted that his relationship with the former boss was not all good but the manager helped him improve in his game as a player.
Paul Pogba therefore stated that the 5-1 win by the club had nothing to do with the absence of the former manager because they had won trophies with him as well in the past.
