Leandro Trossard

English Premier League side Wolverhampton are reported to be making moves to hijack the deal for Arsenal target and Genk midfielder Leandro Trossard by preparing a bid for him ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

The North London side Arsenal are believed to have been in demand of the player for the past weeks but latest reports claim they might miss out with the interest coming from Wolverhampton.

Wolverhampton are in need of a quality forward who can sustain the team with goals through the second stanza of the season.

Leandro Trossard could also snub a move to the North London club as a result of the competition in the Arsenal team which might limit his playing time unlike in Wolves.

The Gunners had expected to have Leandro Trossard as a replacement for England international Danny Welbeck as a result of his injury which may see his end at the club.

So far this season, Leandro Trossard has had 26 games under his belt across all competitions and has been able to deliver 16 goals in addition to 7 assists for his side.

He has got a release clause of about £10 million but suggestions are that it could increase because of the improved performance of the player.
