French star Anthony Martial has been in the news in recent times due to his links with Chelsea this summer.
The talented player is expected to leave Manchester United before next season, and while United fans are pleading with him to remain at the Theater of Dreams, club legend Louis Saha has also shown his displeasure with the player’s desire to leave the club.
Manchester United spent a lot of cash to sign Anthony back in 2015 as a teenager, and he was able to settle quickly to life at Old Trafford under former manager Van Gaal.
However, he keeps struggling for consistency since manager Jose Mourinho arrived at the club, and he has been relegated to a team player after Alexis Sanchez switched to Manchester United from Arsenal in January.
Due to this, he wasn’t part of the French party that travelled to Russia for the World Cup, and he will look to revive his career by joining a side that can guarantee him a regular playing time this summer.
And speaking recently about the player, former Manchester United player Saha said it is ‘a shame’ that Martial is trying to leave Old Trafford.
The former France star believes his countryman simply need to admit there is something wrong with his performance and work hard to become better. According to Saha, a player will play regularly if he is good.
