Alexis Sanchez had suffered a knock injury during training prior to the match against Brighton and Jose Mourinho was forced to drop him out of action.

The Portugal international had replaced Sanchez with wantaway player, Anthony Martial, but his performance had been below par.

Mourinho after the match against Brighton had disclosed that Sanchez injury was not all that serious but the player will be out for at least two weeks.

However, it turned out Mourinho was wrong because according to an update from Alexis Sanchez via his Instagram handle, he will be back to training this week.

And if things go as planned, he will start for the Red Devils as they face Tottenham Hotspur.

But if Mourinho doesn’t agree, either Martial Anthony or Rashford will replace Sanchez again.
