As things stands now, English premier league giants Manchester United are still in search of a new defensive midfielder. And recently, more than a few quality names have been linked with a move to the Old Trafford club.

Another player who has interested Manchester United is Ivorian international and Atlanta star player Franck Kessie (MEN).
Franck Kessie is a versatile player who can effectively play in the central/defensive midfield. And now if the latest reports are anything to go by, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho can agree his signing by splashing “only cash”.
According to latest reports coming from Italy (CalcioMercato via La Gazzetta Dello Sport), the Serie A club have made it clear that they will not accept any swap deal and demand only cash for the 20-year-old African star.
The CalcioMercato stated that other clubs like Chelsea and Roma are also interested in the talented player and are looking to secure his signature this summer.
However, the Old Trafford club may be considered favorites to get his signature because recently, Kessie himself claimed that Manchester United is his dream club.
“I like the Premier League and in particular Manchester United, the club I dream of playing for.” he said.
This season so far in 22 appearances, the former Cesena midfielder has scored 7 times and has provided 2 assists.
