Chelsea £15M Apart In Concluding Summer Deal For Conte’s Preferred Star

Despite a slow start to the summer transfer window, Chelsea are now making their fans excited with new signings, and it appears there is more to be seen.

The club’s Italian boss Antonio Conte revealed very recently that he hopes a fifth signing will soon link up with his squad on their pre-season tour.

Well, we believed the player will be a backup striker, and even The Independent thinks it should be either Swansea City’s Fernando Llorente or Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke.

It is however understood that Llorente is the one who is preferred by the Chelsea manager Conte as both have worked together back then at Juventus.

And apart from that, Benteke himself doed not appear ready to give up first-team football so he could have a good chance to play in the upcoming World Cup.

Additionally, Llorente and Chelsea’s new main striker Alvaro Morata have also played together at Juventus and Morata is said to be a lover of Fernando.

However, the issue here is that the Swans value the Spanish striker at twice the price the premier league champions are prepared to pay.

While it is understood that Chelsea are only interested in using £15M to bring in the player who they are unlikely to fully use next season, Swansea City are demanding £30 million for him.
