Liverpool Summer Transfer Plans Revealed And It Would Disappoint Reds’ Fans

Premier League clubs have already started planning the strategy to adopt ahead of this summer’s transfer window and title contenders Liverpool are not left out.

The Reds have had a very good league campaign till date and their fans would be hoping that the club can build on the successes of this season in the summer.

Liverpool have the same number of points (62) with league leaders Manchester City but with an inferior goal difference in addition to the fact that they have played a game less than the Citizens.

Journalist Paul Joyce of the Liverpool Echo confirmed the transfer plans of the Reds as he said that the Merseysiders won’t spend much money in the summer despite the current mini-crisis in the defence.

Liverpool fans have called on the club to sign a centre back partner for the impressive Virgil Van Dijk.

Dutch international Van Dijk has been in very good form for the Reds in their run to the top of the Premier League table but he has not had a consistent partner throughout this season and this is as a result of the injury to Joe Gomez.

England international Joe Gomez is the current first choice partner for Van Dijk ahead of Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip.
