According to media reports, Chelsea FC midfield maestro Cesc Fabregas is ready to be a transfer target for Villarreal and Valencia this summer transfer window.
Fabregas heavily linked with move back to homeland
The Spain international midfielder is being strongly linked with a return to Spain as his future at the West London club comes under further scrutiny amidst a summer window of upheaval.
It’s suggested by El Gol Digital, as cited by the Daily Star, that both Spanish sides are set to swoop for the highly experienced midfielder, with a return to La Liga seemingly a favourable option for the former Arsenal star.
Contract running out at Stamford Bridge
Fabregas, 31, sees his current deal at the West London club end of next term, meaning that the Blues could look to offload the player whilst they have the chance this summer window.
The exciting midfielder has often reiterated his gladness to be at Stamford Bridge but a transfer away could appeal to the former Barcelona man, with clubs such as Villarreal and Valencia capable of offering frequent game-time to him.
With a new tactician expected at Stamford Bridge, however, the Spaniard may well be a part of the team’s plans going forward.
