Chuba Akpom

Arsenal product and former England U21 international Chuba Akpom has been cited in London as part of the PAOK team that will face West London side Chelsea in the Europa League tie on Thursday.

The striker joined his team and arrived London On Wednesday to be able to give the Blues a good test,

The former Arsenal player was not involved in the first leg clash between both sides as he was left out of the team selection for reasons unknown in the September 20 encounter.

Chuba Akpom has seen two of the last three games for the Greek Super League club across all competition and could be favoured to face the London team knowing his familiarity with the terrain.

The young lad spent sixteen years with the North London club before his move this summer to PAOK as he failed to break into the first team.

The coming of new manager Unai Emery ensued some changes at the Emirates Stadium as he was reported to have told the club he will not be needing Chuba Akpom in the team.

It is believed that Chuba Akpom would still be favoured at the Emirates Stadium should the former French manager Arsene Wenger remain at the club.
