Arsenal, Barcelona in race for Steven N’Zonzi.

The world cup in Russia has always served as a moment when hidden talents can show their skills to the world.

One player who might actually be on his way to hit it big in one of the biggest clubs in Europe is Sevilla’s midfielder.

Rumours have been going around that La Liga toppers, Barcelona and English football club, Arsenal have shown interest in France international, Steven N’Zonzi.

N’Zonzi had played in the second half of the final match of the world cup between his home country and Croatia.

However, Sevilla has come out to deny rumours that some clubs have shown interest in the 29-year-old midfielder.

As the club stated no offer was on the table.

It added that should any offer come for Steven N’Zonzi, then such club would have to pay his release clause fee which is said to worth £40 million.

Sevilla stated it will accept nothing short of that amount as the player still has two years to go with the club.

The club management are hoping Steven N’Zonzi will complete his agreement with them before thinking of leaving the club.

Of the two clubs, which are reported to have shown interest, only Barcelona can sign the player at that amount as Arsenal is affected by a limited budget.
