Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has assured the fans that his side will definitely reinforce their midfield department next summer by signing at least one new midfielder.

And should Marouane Fellaini decide to leave Old Trafford at the end of this season, the Portuguese tactician said he will replace the Belgian with another player when summer comes.

The former Chelsea boss made Paul Pogba the most expensive player in the world in the summer of 2016, and he also splashed huge cash to lure Nemanja Matic from Chelsea.

However, Englishman Michael Carrick is ready to hang his boot at the end of this term, and it is understood he will be included in the coaching staff when he retires.

Marouane Fellaini will be out of contract at the end of this season, and the Belgian’s future remains unknown.

The red devils have offered the midfielder a new contract to extend his stay at Old Trafford, but it appears he is keen on leaving Jose Mourinho’s side this summer.

And the Portuguese tactician has made it known he will need to buy two midfielders if Marouane quits at the end of the term.

Already, his side have been linked with some talented midfielders in Europe, and we look forward to what will happen when summer comes.
