Luka Jovic

English Premier League outfit Arsenal are reported to have established contact for the signature of Benfica star striker Luka Jovic ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

Luka Jovic was on the radar of the North London outfit in the last January winter transfer window but a deal failed to work through with the club refusing to part ways with him. More so, the Gunners were not ready to push for the deal as they lacked funds at the time.

However, the Gunners seem ready to snap up Luka Jovic and are reported to have contacted the Portuguese club to know about the availability of the player ahead of the summer window.

Luka Jovic is currently on loan with German Bundesliga outfit side Eintracht Frankfurt and he is currently impressing at the club with suggestions that he would be recalled back to the Portuguese side.

But the North London outfit have now made their interest registered as they hope to convince Benfica into releasing him in the coming window.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are not alone in the race for Luka Jovic as Chelsea and Real Madrid are also reported to be interested.

Should Luka Jovic join the North London outfit, he would be a replacement for Danny Welbeck who is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
