Granit Xhaka speaks on move to Swiss club

Arsenal midfielder is dreaming of a return to Swiss club Basel in the nearest future despite admitting that he is happy at the Emirates Stadium.

Xhaka started his football career with Basel before he moved to German side Borussia Monchengladbach before he joined Arsenal in 2016 and has since settled in the team.

The Swiss international has become a better player since the coming of manager Unai Emery to the club and it is now better with his partnership with newcomer Lucas Torreira.

However, all of the positives at the North London side cannot stop him from thinking of a return back to his country home to end his career.

According to him, his career started there and it will be a pleasure to have the end of his career at same club but noted that it will not happen now that he plays active football.

Meanwhile, Xhaka has been helpful to the Arsenal team and has praised the Spanish boss for helping to improve his game.

The Swiss was recently drafted to the left full-back as a result of the lack of options following the absence of Spanish left full-back Nacho Monreal who was out to an injury he sustained.
