Good news for Arsenal fans as top transfer target is asked to leave Club

According to reports from Spain, La Liga giant FC Barcelona are looking to sell Arsenal transfer target Arda Turan in the New Year. The Turkish star is absolutely out of favour at the Camp Nou and could soon have to seek greener pastures elsewhere.

As per Turkish Football, FC Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is hoping to re-build his  Barcelona team in January and has told the midfielder he will not be a part of his plans next year. Turan, though, is thought to be happy at the club despite his lack of playing opportunity and would only head to the English Premier League.

This development comes as a great news to fans of an English club that he’s been strongly linked with the most – Arsenal. In fact, just last week, there were reports that the Gunners had tried to bring him in the summer but a move, didn’t materialize despite Arsenal tabling an offer.

The 30-year-old joined the La Liga giant back in 2015 from rivals Atletico Madrid and has been utilized partly ever since. It’s really bad right now, as he hasn’t played a single match under coach Valverde. He couldn’t even make the lineup in the Copa del Rey games against lower league sides.
