After beating Huddersfield 3-0 in the premier league last Saturday at Anfield, Liverpool are ready to face Maribor in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Reds thrashed the Slovenian side 7-0 last week in the first leg, and are now level on points with their Group leaders Spartak Moscow after the first three games.
Considering that the Russian side will be facing Sevilla on Wednesday night too, Liverpool have been presented with a good opportunity to top their group if they can earn all three points against Maribor this week. And the fans will hope the boys will go into the game with full confidence following the victory over Huddersfield in the premier league.

Both Philippe Coutinho and Dejan Lovren were not part of the squad that faced Huddersfield on Saturday, and the duo are not expected to be available for the Champions League game
Senegal international Sadio Mane is still out with injury, but the African star is expected to return to full fitness after the international break.
And for the Slovenian champions, the duo of Denis Sme and Luka Zahovic have been sidelined and aren’t expected in the game.
The first leg game played last week was the first time Liverpool will play with Maribor in history, and Maribor have only been able to win just one of their nine games against an English club.
