Good News: Contact Made Already As United Set To Sign £35M Star

Pep Guardiola led his team Manchester City to suffer a shocking defeat against current EPL defending champions Leicester City on Saturday, giving Manchester United the chance to close the gap on their long-time rivals after beating Tottenham.

Even after signing in top quality players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window, Manchester United are still average so far this season.

The red devils manager Jose Mourinho is looking to further reinforce his squad and West Ham United’s Dimitri Payet has been constantly linked.

He wanted him in the summer as well and over two weeks back, the Mirror reported that United are looking to finally sign the £35million rated ($44million) star in the winter window.

Recent reports have it that the Portuguese tactician has already contacted the French international personally to discuss securing his signature.

However, the Transfer Market Web claimed that United are planning to offer Fellaini in a swap deal to hire the services of the 29-year-old attacker.

The Belgian international has been inconsistent this season and therefore, the Hammers may agree to such a proposal for their Dimitri Payet. The Les Bleus attacker has scored 2 goals and provided 7 assists in his 15 games this season.
