According to reports, Man United are sure that Paul Pogba will be back fully fit to face Newcastle United at Old Trafford after the international break.

The Frenchman is set to return later this month and is expected to feature in the upcoming games against Arsenal and Man City a few weeks from now.

Pogba missed Man United’s last 12 games after picking a hamstring injury during his side’s 3-0 win over Basel in the Champions League last September.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly hoped to have the player back in time for the Sunday game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but his recovery has been slowed and Jose was advised not to risk the former Juventus midfielder.

Despite starting the season impressively, the Old Trafford club have obviously missed Pogba in the squad and are now eight points behind Manchester City who are sitting on top of the premier league table.

United lost 1-0 to Chelsea on Sunday while City thrashed Arsenal 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium about two hours before the Stamford Bridge kickoff.

But Paul could take a place on the bench for Man United’s next games after the international break is over and his return will be a big boost for Mourinho.

After the international break, the Portuguese boss will hosts Newcastle United at Old Trafford before games against Brighton, Arsenal and Manchester City.
