Russia international tipped as ideal backup for Aubameyang, Lacazette

The interest indicated by North London outfit Arsenal in the signing of Russia International striker Fedor Chalov has been hailed as a good one.

The Gunners have been linked with the star striker for many months and this could be the time for his arrival.

Arsenal have parted ways with England international Danny Welbeck which leaves no backup for their two strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

Fedor Chalov has therefore been tipped to serve as a backup for the two strikers, knowing that he is young and has shown big prospect.

Suggestions are that Fedor Chalov will be among the first names to join Arsenal in this summer transfer window.

Fedor Chalov has 15 goals to his name in the Russian Premier League in addition to providing seven assists to help his Club.

Manager Unai Emery will expect the young Russian striker to strengthen his attack and help return the club back to Champions League.

However, pundits have advised the Spanish boss to focus more attention on the defence, having identified the department as the weakest in The Gunners team.

While the summer transfer window is yet to close, it is expected that manager Unai Emery will bring a new legs.
