Fabregas on his way to Spain, report

Emerging report says Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas would be joining Spanish outlet Atletico Madrid when leaves the Stamford Bridge.

Fabregas’ future with the Blues remains uncertain with the numerous options they have got in the middle.

The former Arsenal star has seen less playing time this term and that has been a concern for him.

With Atletico showing serious interest in the Chelsea star, it could be an easy decision for him to make.

There is no indication that a move away from the club would be stopped by the Stamford Bridge side so as to cash in on him.

With his contract expected to end at the summer, Fabregas is yet to agree on a new deal with his employers and that will obviously make him a free agent.

According to The Mirror, the Spanish star is interesting the Diego Simeone side and he might be on his way to the Wanda Metropolitano club in the summer.

With N’Golo Kante, Ruben-Loftus Cheek, Ross Barkley, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic as options in the midfield for Maurizio Sarri, there will be no argument on a fee for the player.

The former Barcelona player has earlier protested the lack of playing time under manager Unai Emery.
