The end has finally come for Mourinho

Emerging reports indicate that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho would be asked to leave the club this week.

To both the fans and the management, it was unacceptable for the Red Devils to suffer an embarrassing 3-1 defeat to West Ham on Saturday and a decision has to be made, it was revealed.

A Daily Mail report revealed that the United staff and squad could not wait to get home but began talks of the Portuguese manager on the train from London.

It was learnt that Mourinho had stayed back in London leaving the players to return home. Most of the players had commuted back to Stockport but the likes of Paul Pogba, Victor Lindelof, Matteo Darmian and Luke Shaw all alighted early at Wilmslow.

This season for United has been overwhelmed by controversies and the former Chelsea boss might just be at the receiving end of the whole situation.

The Old Trafford boys have lost three games this season and a draw which adds to the disappointing elimination from the Carabao Cup by County last week.

It is uncertain if the Manchester club have secured a replacement for Mourinho but it is obvious he will not be allowed to stay any longer as long as the situation persists.
