Good News: Diego Costa Projected To Stay At Club Next Season – This Is Why!

Many Chelsea supporters are still worried if one of their star players, Diego Costa, would eventually leave next season. To add to the tension, the media keeps showing them different strikers linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge club, which made them felt the boss – Antonio Conte, seeks a replacement for the Spanish striker.

However, currently, there is something that can make the blues supporters happy right now. The bookies has insisted that the talented Chelsea forward is going nowhere.

Chelsea are currently ten points clear at the top of the table and are firm favourites to win the title this season, and Diego Costa’s 17 Premier League goals this season so far, played a vital role in the feat.

Despite having a row with manager Antonio Conte alongside a fitness coach in the past January, Betway make Costa 2/9 to leave in the summer while it is 3/1 that he rejoins Atletico Madrid.

Despite the January incident, the relationship between the duo of Diego Costa with Antonio Conte seems right back on track.

Costa too has admitted that he wanted to leave to Atletico Madrid last summer as he has a special feeling for the team, because, according to him, ‘I lived the best moment of my career there.’

The forward also stated that Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone knows it wasn’t impossible for him to come back to Atletico and his relationship with Conte didn’t start well when he told the former Juventus manager upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge that he desire leaving to Atletico Madrid.

The Spain international however concluded that Chelsea’s fans love him a lot more  than those in Atletico.
