Another Chelsea Star Set To Leave Stamford Bridge This Summer

Diego Costa is strongly expected to make an exit from Chelsea this summer and has had a fair share of transfer controversy during his time at West London.

Last January, the Spanish forward was heavily linked with a move to the Chinese Super League in a big money offer, right now, however, it is understood that his former Spanish club Atletico Madrid are set to re-sign him.

Unfortunately for the La Liga club, their transfer ban was upheld until next January, so, Costa can’t reunite with the Madrid club in the upcoming transfer window.

Few hours ago, the 28-year-old revealed he had been told by text message that his Italian manager at Chelsea Antonio Conte had told him he was not part of his plans for next term.

It is understood that there are more clubs that have been monitoring Costa, and they are beginning to make their intentions known – and AC Milan is part of them.

Sky Sports says AC Milan have met with Diego Costa’s agent Jorge Mendes and that another meeting is scheduled for this week.

It is said that Chelsea are already in talks with Everton over the signing of Belgium star player Romelu Lukaku – which would put Costa’s future at Stamford Bridge in doubt.
