Cristiano Ronaldo to face United again

It has been revealed that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo will face his former club Man United again in a preseason game in Russia for the International Champions Cup later this summer.

Most of the games in the champions are expected to be played in the United States but there are claims that the game against Juventus could be moved elsewhere because of the rape allegation against the World Football player of the year in the country.

Although, the former Real Madrid and Man United star has denied any involvement in the rape allegation by Kathryn Mayorga in Las Vegas in 2009. The investigation is still ongoing and yet to be concluded but the organizers are making efforts to avoid any psychological issues with the player.

More so, Juventus are making efforts to avoid some embarrassment for Cristiano Ronaldo as they fear he might be arrested and detained once he gets into the country as a result of the allegations.

They are now likely to move the games to Asia but the conclusion of the competition is expected to be known in coming weeks.

However, Tottenham could be involved in the competition which makes it possible to clash with Juventus as well as Man United.
