Fiorentina did have the winger on loan for the latter half of last season but Jurgen Klopp’s men have now emerged as contenders for his signature.
Barcelona winger Cristian Tello is attracting interest from Fiorentina and Liverpool as the 24-year-old looks set to move away from the Catalan club this summer.
Having spent the last six months on loan in Florence, it is thought the Gigliati are looking to make the move for the winger a permanent one, whilst Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp is also said to be an admirer of the Spaniard.
Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Tello’s career in recent years and were linked with a bid for the player, before he completed a two-year loan spell to Porto from 2014 until 2016.
However, despite the apparent demand, the transfer may not be straightforward as Barcelona are keen to add to their attacking firepower before letting Tello leave
