Where does Lukaku stand at United? What he did is surprising

Romelu Lukaku

The actions of Belgium international Romelu Lukaku on and off the field have been a thing of concern to both Manchester United supporters and pundits.

Romelu Lukaku is one of the players who can be pointed to as not improving under the new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following the sack of manager Jose Mourinho.

And it is not news that the Belgium forward is a big fan of the former Chelsea boss and was arguably the only player in the team that had a good relationship with Jose Mourinho with claims that he was unhappy when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was brought in.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hit the ground running and did what Jose Mourinho could not do at the Old Trafford by going 11 games without a defeat.

All of the goodwill came to an end on Tuesday when the former United forward saw his first defeat as United boss and that got all of the players disappointed.

But that cannot be said of Romelu Lukaku who was the only player seen smiling after the 2-0 defeat when he walked past the press with his headphones on.

This, therefore, calls for concern over the commitment of the star player to the team and his loyalty to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
