Chelsea willing to sell £53m-rated flop to interested suitor

According to German media reports, Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have been extremely priced out of a bid to sign Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer.

Outrageous Chelsea demands

German Sport 1, as cited by the Sun is claiming that the Blues are demanding a fee of £53million to offload the midfielder only a year after he joined the Stamford Bridge club from Monaco last summer window.

As per the same article, the German side have made a bid to try and land the 23-year-old but Dortmund have been put off by the Blues valuation of the midfielder.

Despite his below-par performances this term, the Blues are thought to be demanding about £13million more than the fee they paid to bring him from the French side last year.

Dortmund desperately keen on midfielder

However, it is also suggested in the same article that the German side do still want to sign Bakayoko at the next transfer window.

Although, any move would depend on Chelsea considerably reducing their asking price for the France international ahead of next campaign.

The midfielder will be hoping to help his West London side end the campaign on a high by beating Premier League rivals Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup at Wembley Stadium this month.
