Chelsea Set To Pounce On Wantaway Manchester United Defender

Chelsea are considering to swoop on Manchester United star Luke Shaw who might leave the Old Trafford in the summer, according to reports.

The English defender has made just 41 appearances for United since he joined in 2014 for £30million to be the most expensive teenager in the world.

Shaw has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho making seven league appearances so far this season which has sparked interest from the Blues and Tottenham hotspurs.

However, United teammate, Phil Jones has dismissed such reports claiming he is not leaving the Old Trafford.

Jones told Inside United magazine: ‘Super quick, super strong, technically very good and he can put in some good crosses when he gets forward.’

‘I am angry with these reports suggesting Luke Shaw will leave Manchester United in the summer,’

‘Luke Shaw is happy at Manchester United and also, Manchester United are happy with him.’

Reports have it that Jose Mourinho is not keen on Shaw’s lack of progress at United and could be open to offers for the England defender in the summer transfer window despite being interested him during his time as Chelsea boss, Luke Shaw will be a good fit in Conte 3-4-3 formation due to his pace and defensive skills.
