Russian star player Alexsandr Golovin has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea this summer transfer window.
According to reports, manager Maurizio Sarri will make the youngster his first signing when he arrives Stamford Bridge any moment from now.
The Sun made it known that Sarri is set to be officially appointed as Chelsea’s new boss ahead of the 2018/19 season, and the management hopes he will help restore their lost glories
Chelsea are yet to sign a single player this summer, unlike some other top English sides that are already deep into summer businesses. This is as a result of the current managerial situation at the club.
Apart from his exploits in the World Cup, Golovin has been in the news in recent times due to his links with various top clubs across Europe. He has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Serie A champions Juventus.
However, the Sun made it known that the Stamford Bridge club are leading the race to secure his services, and that they are aiming at signing him for £27M.
The West London side are set to take advantage of the summer transfer window to reinforce their squad after a disappointing campaign last season.
