Deal! Chelsea prepare to battle 25-year-old Marcos Alonso replacement

Premier League giants Chelsea are ready to rival City for the service of Paris Saint Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa, as per reports.

PSG set to offload defender

According to The Mirror, the French Ligue 1 champions are desperate to sell players before they can sign, and Layvin Kurzawa could be one of those prepared to leave the French club.

The Blues are already stocked in the department, with Spain international defender Marcos Alonso having been included in the team of the year and also having £25million winter signing Emerson Palmieri in the squad.

Chelsea failed to sign Brazilian

Chelsea tried but failed to land Brazil and Juventus defender Alex Sandro last summer transfer window, and it is thought that any move for the flying defender would be turned down again this coming summer.

As for Fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, Ben Davies has done pretty well this term in the absence of England man Danny Rose, and Spurs are ready to offload the latter if the right bid comes in.

More suitors for defender

Layvin Kurzawa has been a regular starter this campaign, playing 25 matches and netting five goals as his team close in on another domestic treble.

Premier League side Manchester United could also be keen on the 25-year-old, as they look to offload £30m signing from Southampton Luke Shaw who has failed to secure the first-team spot since joining in 2014.
