Liverpool enter race to sign brilliant £65million rated forward

Reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea have struggled this summer window with transfers as their top targets all failing, and it seems as though Liverpool will be the latest club to beat them to the signing of Dortmund star Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been the center of interest from top European clubs this summer transfer window after scoring 40 goals in all competitions last season.

European heavyweights AC Milan and Paris Saint German were the front runners until Premier League Champions Chelsea looked favorites having missed out on top target Romelu Lukaku to rivals Manchester United.

According to the Sun, the Blues just won’t have it their way this summer transfer window as Liverpool enters the fray.

The Sun claims Liverpool have leaped ahead of the Champions to sign the Gabon international because of Klopp’s ties with his former club.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is the manager who signed the African from Saint Etienne back in 2013.

The Dortmund forward may just leave the Bundesliga side this summer, but it’s not sure he will sign for Chelsea yet although there has been interest from the West London club.

The Blues are in need of a forward to replace the outgoing Diego Costa and have tried to sign Romelu Lukaku, Alvaro Morata and shown interest in Andrea Belotti.
