Arsenal were right? Ramsey’s demand before Arsenal’s refusal revealed

It has been revealed that the Arsenal were forced to withdraw negotiations with the club’s contract rebel Aaron Ramsey due to his outrageous wage demand.

It is no longer news that Aaron Ramsey will be leaving the Emirates Stadium as a free player at the end of the season when his contract with the club eventually expires.

The Wales international had his contract with the Gunners side run into the last year which gave him the advantage to make demands knowing his importance in the team.

However, It has been revealed that the former Cardiff midfielder who earns £110,000 at the club demanded for a whopping pay rise of £355,000 to equal that of German midfielder Mesut Ozil at the club.

It’s obvious that the North London club are not ready to have such a deal knowing they are already overburdened with the enormous financial obligations.

There is no doubt that the Wales international will largely consider wage offer in making a decision for his next move with the latest revelation.

No wonder the Gunners manager Unai Emery was reported to have asked the club to refuse the offer with the hope that Ramsey’s demand can be spread among more players rather than being handed to an individual.
