Arsenal open to negotiation with star striker

English Premier League outfit Arsenal are keen to keep their star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and they are set to negotiate a new contract with him in this summer transfer window.

This is because the Gabon international has received interests from China with a bid of a ÂŁ300,000-a-week from two Chinese Super League clubs and that remains a threat to Arsenal.

But Unai Emery is determined to hold onto his star player and has told the club that the right thing to do is to hand him a new deal at the club.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not the only one being linked away from the club as his best friend and partner Alexandre Lacazette is also being linked away.

Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona have already indicated interest in the former Lyon striker and that is also being blocked by the North London outfit as they are also considering handing him a new deal.

Arsenal are keen to keep all of their star players as they will not be able to replace them because of their limited funds despite wishing to part ways with a few as only ÂŁ40 million has been made available to the Spanish boss for this summer window.
