Arsenal legend explains why United players should feel embarrassed

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has taken a swipe at Manchester United players after their sudden resurgence on the pitch under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

It was a different Manchester United team under former boss Jose Mourinho and the result was the obvious as they found it difficult to win games so far this season, worst being the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.

All of this ensured the Red Devils in the eighth spot as well as an embarrassing exit from the Carabao Cup by Derby County which added to the dressing room crisis.

But immediately after the sack of the Portuguese boss, the United team changed rapidly and returned to winning ways by recording wins in the two games under the interim boss.

The Arsenal legend expressed surprise at how the United players were able to achieve all that had happened and most surprising scoring eight goals.

According to him, United players should be embarrassed for making it look so easy, most importantly, how they have begun to run around the pitch faster than how they did under the former Chelsea boss.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is of the opinion that the Red Devils will have a feat on Bournemouth because of their high spirit at the moment.
