Mourinho Single Out This Player For Praise Ahead Of Brighton Clash

Anthony Martial

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is very much pleased with Anthony Martial’s progress this term and he believes the Frenchman is the most improved player so far this season at the club.

Martial struggled vehemently to adapt to Jose’s demands during his first season at the Theater of dreams last year, but the talented player has evolved into a key component of Manchester United attack this season.

Manchester United have scored some whopping 36 goals already this term, and Martial made a reasonable contribution to the feat – having scored five goals in the premier league so far this season, with two assists also.

Martial’s recent performances at Old Trafford have seen him being recalled to his senior national squad, and he has even shortlisted for TF1’s Young French Player of the Year award few days ago.

And speaking of his attacking players ahead of the clash against Brighton at Old Trafford, Jose singles out Martial and lavished lots of praise on the Frenchman.

Although the tactician insists the rest of the guys are doing fine and are trying to give their best, he believes Martial is getting more better as he is scoring more goals this season.

“[And] that is why he is playing more” Jose added.

Manchester United will hope to reduce the eight points gap between them and league leaders Manchester City this weekend.
