Arsenal finally get price for long-term target

A deal is getting closer for the North London club Arsenal after they have been told how much to pay for their long-term target and Juventus defender Medhi Benatia term

The Gunners have been keeping tabs on the interesting defender for a couple of years and this could finally be the time to land him after they were told they will have to pay the sum of £20 million to be able to secure his services.

The Morocco international is believed to fall in the class of the quality that is needed at the Emirates Stadium so as to be able to cover for the loopholes especially with the reports that Laurent Koscielny is being linked away from the club.

However, Medhi Benatia has only played 6 games this season which means he might not be important in the squad to warrant them keeping him further.

Gunners will also battle Manchester United who are believed will be willing to meet the release clause for the star defender come winter transfer window.

The North London side have been able to score a number of goals this season but they have also conceded in a manner that can be reduced which makes it important for a new addition to strengthen the defence.
