Arsenal fans would love Arsene Wengers claim about Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez could well leave the North London club in the New Year. However, the Emirate club are yet to get an offer for the Chilean international forward, according to Four Four Two.

Alexis Sanchez was close to leaving the team during the last summer transfer window as a deal with Premier League leaders Manchester City failed to materialize in the closing stages of the transfer window.

Pep Guardiola’s team was thought to be interested in a move for the forward in January especially after a severe injury suffered by Brazil star Gabriel Jesus during the weekend.

The Gunners have a couple of transfer issues in that they have not been able to seal Alexis Sanchez, Jack Wilshere and Mesut Ozil to long-term contracts, something which might later haunt Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger confirmed to newsmen recently that the club has not received any offers for Sanchez ahead of a possible transfer this month. He said the club will try to keep the trio.

The Arsenal head coach highlighted strongly his intents to keep hold of the three influential players at the North London club beyond the winter transfer window after not receiving any offers.

Arsene Wenger’s team, who are placed fifth on the log, host reigning Champions Chelsea on Wednesday night.
