Manchester United have reportedly dropped their interest in Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Greizmann to focus on the possibility of landing the one or two of Andrea Belotti, Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata.
Reports in various reliable outlets have it that United have shifted their sights on signing a natural centre-forward and have cooled their interest Griezmann after Atletico Madrid announced earlier that their transfer ban have been upheld, stopping them from making buying any player this summer.
Prior to that, United were understood to be closing in on a summer move for the French forward with reports that the Red Devils have met the player’s representatives and are ready to meet his £85million release clause
Reports in the Telegraph claim that Manchester United have dropped their interest due to the transfer ban and will now look to seal a summer deal for Andrea Belotti, Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata.
It is understood that United boss Jose Mourinho is looking to bring in one or two players as replacements for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney who might have played their last game for the Red Devils during the last campaign.
Ibrahimovic is said to be reluctant to sign a new deal at the Old Trafford despite his agent’s comments that he wants to remain at United.
