Chelsea Boss Throws Encomiums On Manchester United Star Target

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has recently made it known that he admires Atletico Madrid star player Saul Niguez so much and he is a big fan of the player.

The Chelsea boss is leading his side to their second Champions League group stage game at Madrid against Niguez’ side, following their impressive premier league win on Saturday.

Chelsea thrashed Qarabag 6-0 in their first group stage game at Stamford Bridge a few days back, and a win at the Spanish capital on Wednesday will shoot them to the top of the group.

Niguez has evolved into one of the most important members of Atletico Madrid following his impressive performances in recent times. His performances have caught the attention of top European clubs, and the youngster has been strongly linked with premier league giants Manchester United in the past.

The 22-year-old, however, seemed to end all speculations about a move to England last summer by putting pen to paper for a new deal at Atletico that will keep him at the club for nine years.

And Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, speaking ahead of his side’s game against Atletico, hailed Saul as a great player who is very important at the Spanish side, alongside Koke.

“I know Niguez very well,” the Italian tactician said, “I like him and he is a really good midfielder.”
