Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on transforming his side into a European powerhouse next season, and the manager is determined to take advantage of the summer transfer window to get things done.

The German boss has already signed Fabinho from Monaco some days back and will also receive RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita when July comes.

Despite having a fabulous attack and midfield, the Merseysiders are yet to have a standard goalkeeper that can help prevent opponents from scoring constantly.

The former Dortmund manager is aware he must splash some cash to bolster his goalkeeping department, and he has been linked with various talented goalkeepers.

The Anfield club have been linked with the likes of Alisson Becker (AS Roma) and Nick Pope (Burnley) in recent times.

However, according to new reports coming from Germany, the Merseysiders are monitoring the duo of Yann Sommer and Jiri Pavlenka.

Bild made it known that Jurgen Klopp’s side are paying attention to the Bundesliga and are impressed with the performances of Werder Bremen’s Pavlenka and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Sommer in the German top flight.

Yann joined Borussia Monchengladbach from Basel in 2014 and has evolved into one of the best in the Bundesliga.

The 29-year-old has kept 48 clean sheets for the club and is believed to be above the league of both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet at Liverpool.

In the same vein, Pavlenka was able to keep 10 clean sheets for Werder Bremen in 38 games, and his exploits have not gone unnoticed.

Although Liverpool are okay signing any one of them, the report made it known that they can actually bring both of them down to Anfield this summer and let go of the duo of Simon and Loris in the process.
