Deal Almost Done! Arsenal star player offered to Serie A giant

Mesut Ozil

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has reportedly been offered to Italian Serie A side Inter Milan, as reported by renowned football transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano.

The Germany International midfielder will see his existing contract at Arsenal expire in less than 12 months and the Gunners have yet to make the right move to extend the German’s contract at the North London club.

Italian giant Inter Milan are in the transfer market for an attacking midfielder who can beef up the team to strengthen its style, but the German is way expensive for any Italian Serie A side.

The FIFA World cup winner is on a € 7 million-yearly contract at Emirates and is looking for a better deal. The Serie A suitor can’t match the German’s economic valuation just like any other Italian Serie A side.

Agents close to the unsettled midfielder, in fact, have also offered the German to other top Italian Serie A clubs but neither of the suitors wants to pay that much for the Arsenal star’s salary.

Reports across England suggest Serie A side Inter Milan could consider swapping Mesut Ozil and Joao Mario. Sources also reveal, however, manager Spalletti does not want to cash in on Joao Mario, and Inter Milan want to keep him in the winter transfer unless they receive an ‘insane’ bid.
