Alvaro Morata or Olivier Giroud: Martin Keown tells Sarri who to start against Liverpool

Despite, the numerous talents at Stamford Bridge, Sarri Maurizio has two Strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, who are not really spectacular.

This has raised questions on whom to start at the forefront against Liverpool today.

Chelsea may have defeated Liverpool right at Anfield in the Carabao Cup but today’s match in the EPL will be a different ball game entirely.

Jurgen Klopp will start most of his top players today as he battles Chelsea to remain at top of the table.

This means Sarri Maurizio must be thoughtful and careful of whom to start at the forefront.

The Italian is likely to start former Arsenal star, Olivier Giroud owing to the fact that the world cup winner has a perfect combination with Eden Hazard.

Belgium striker, Eden Hazard also confirmed he prefers to play alongside Giroud over Alvaro Morata.

However, former Arsenal defender turn football pundit, Martin Keown has a different opinion.

According to Keown, Sarri should start Alvaro Morata then bring in Olivier Giroud to make the impact later on in the match.

He added that Olivier Giroud does better as a substitute, having scoring 19 goals as a substitute.

Chelsea cannot rely on Eden Hazard to score goals every week.
