Alexis Sanchez Urged To Snub Arsenal For A Bigger Club

Alexis Sanchez’ future at Arsenal remains uncertain and he has emerged as a target for a handful of top clubs across Europe this summer.

But his countryman Ivan Zamorano has urged him to leave North London so he could fulfil his dream of winning the Champions League.

Alexis continues to be the subject of strong rumours after failing to agree to terms over a new contract with the Gunners.

It is understood that both Chelsea and Man City are interested in signing the Chile international, and the player himself has admitted having made a decision over his future.

And Chile legend Zamorano, who had also played for Real Madrid and Inter Milan, is of the opinion that Sanchez should leave the Emirates and go join a club with the capacities of winning the Champions League.

Speaking to SFR Sport, the retired striker hailed Alexis as a player with goals and ambitions who loves winning and dreams of winning the Champions League. He believes the player will be able to do so with a bigger team than Arsenal.

For the first time in many years, the Gunners won’t be playing in the Champions League after they finished fifth in the Premier League last season.

Alexis helped his country sail through to the final of the Confederations Cup in Russia but lost the trophy to a stronger German side.
