According to the Daily Metro, Real Madrid are willing to sell Gareth Bale to Premier League giant Manchester United to foot the bill for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe.

Even after the sale of Morata and Danilo, Real Madrid are still short of funds, and the European Champions are reportedly set to drop on Bale’s deal.

Bale, Benzema, Cristiano have been the heartbeat of the Spanish giant over the last few years. Together, the trio have won three of the last four UEFA Champions League campaigns and the La Liga in 2016/17.

The 18-year-old Monaco star is ever present in the Monaco front line. He played a pivotal role at the club, netting 107 goals in 38 games at close to 3 goals per game.

Every big clubs in Europe has set their sights on Mbappe. Although Real are believed to be favourite for the Frenchman, he could quite possibly stave them off if he feels he is not going to get regular game time which is something on offer at PSG, Manchester City and Arsenal who are set to roll the red carpet out for him.

If Bale stays at Real, Mbappe will find himself alternating with Bale who is easily one of the greatest attackers in the sport.

Bale, who joined Real Madrid from Spurs for a then record-breaking deal, had earlier declared that he’d struggle to feature for any club other than North London club Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
