Barcelona attacking midfielder Arda Turan is keen on moving to Manchester United this summer, according to reports.
The 30-year-old has been tipped to make a move away from the Camp Nou after struggling to get games with the Catalan giants since he moved there from Atletico Madrid.
Prior reports in Spanish outlet AS claim that Jose Mourinho is keen on adding Turan to his ranks this summer and a move could materialise due to a working relationship between the Portuguese and Turan’s agent, Jorge Mendes.
Reports in Turkish news outlet Futbol Arena suggests that the midfielder does not want to play for Galatasaray and will prefer a move to United.
The report also claims that Turan is waiting on Mourinho to make a move for him.
Before now, Arsenal were said to have enquired about the availability of the veteran midfielder as they searched for a replacement for Mesut Ozil who appeared to be keen on leaving the Emirates in the final year of his contract.
However, the move to Arsenal has since then being squashed following reports that Ozil will remain at the club and extend his stay, leaving Manchester United as the only serious contender for Turan’s signature this summer.
